Day 12: San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO DAY!!! We woke up at 6:30am this morning to the Full House theme song, packed up
our things and got on the bus.
We went
to the Cliff House and ate some popovers with jam and marmalade, with a side of
fresh squeezed orange juice. Chef Kevin Weber gave us a tour of the building
and told us about the history of the Cliff House.
Then we hopped into the bus
and vans and drove to Fisherman’s Wharf. Our afternoons were spent buying food
and souvenirs in the city at places like the Cannery, Ghirardelli Square, and
Union Square.
Matt McConnell telling the group about The Cliff House restaurant.
Colby Dennis presenting research on the city of San Francisco.
Mary Carter Johnson telling us about Lombard Street.

We met up for dinner in china town at a place called Far East Café
and ate buffet style Chinese food. After dinner we headed over to the famous
Golden Gate Bridge.
Some walked and some ran, some shirtless and some not.
After an exhausting day we headed back to Lakeside Presbyterian Church, took
showers and went to bed.
PLEASE BE PATIENT AS WE TRAVEL THROUGH YOSEMITE. WE WILL NOT HAVE INTERNET CONNECTION AND ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO UPLOAD MORE PICTURES TO SAN FRANCISCO DAY. MORE PICTURES WILL BE ADDED AND YOSEMITE'S BLOG WILL BE UPDATED WHEN WE GET TO UTAH. THANK YOU.
